Yes, there is a haunting in Manhattan Beach at a house located on the corner of Manhattan Beach Blvd. and Chestnut which is 2 blocks east of Sepulveda. The house is located on the northeast corner. I lived there with my mother in the late 1970's. Yes, it is haunted. It is a long story. What appeared to me was a bearded man in a brown hooded monk robe with a rope as a belt. UCLA came out. The owner was aware of this ghost (we were renting).
