Preferably fiction and not mini stories, more like One book:One story.
I recently read a terrific book but I think it's considered nonfiction not fiction. It's called The Bell Witch. It's based on a true story and was eventually made into a movie called An American Haunting. I never saw the movie. But the book is great. It's based on the diary of a witness to the supernatural accounts and who had "inside knowledge" of what was going on. It's written in "story" format, not like a normal documentary that's usually dry and boring — so it's interesting, fast paced and keeps your attention. And it's creepy as anything. You should give it a try. If you like stories about hauntings, you'll like it I'm sure.

Apparently there are several books on the Bell Witch which I didn't realize at first. The author/editor of the book I read, "The Bell Witch," is Brent Monahan.
